About Us

ST. Peter & ST. Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church was founded in 1903 by a group of concerned and faithful Ukrainian immigrants.

ST. Peter and ST. Paul parish has seen many blessings, challenges and changes in its 106 yeasrs of existence. We embrace the heritage from which we were born and reach out to new faithful from diverse cultural backgrounds.

ST. Peter & ST. Paul is under the omophor of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA and the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.

The Reverend Steve Repa is the current priest of our parish. Father Steve would enjoy meeting you. As you come up to venerate the cross at the end of Liturgy, please introduce yourself. At the coffee hour, held in the church hall after services, you can get better acquainted with him and our parishioners. Father Steve may be contacted by telephone for further information or to arrange for a meeting at 412-279-2111.

For those of you with children, please note that this is a child friendly parish! We like to have children worshipping with us, and the crying of babies is music to our ears. During the school year, Religious Education classes are provided from pre-school through adult ed.

College students will find that Orthodox Christian Fellowships exist on many local campuses. See Natalie Kapeluck, our Youth/Young Adult Minister to make connections with active campus fellowship groups.

Join us! If you would like to make St. Peter & St. Paul’s your parish home, ask to see a Parish Officer at coffee hour. They will provide you with additional membership/stewardship information. If you have enjoyed today’s experience and would like to be added to our mailing list, please leave your name and address to receive special schedule and event information. Our website is also a good place to keep up to date of services and special events. We would love to have you as a regular member of our parish.
